One portal, a dozen government loan schemes.

JanSamarth is the Government of India's unified digital platform linking credit-linked government schemes across education, agriculture, MSME and livelihood categories, so a borrower can check eligibility and apply without navigating a dozen separate scheme websites.

CreditCares is a private loan consultancy / DSA and is not affiliated with the Government of India or any scheme administrator. We help structure and place scheme-linked applications with our partner lenders; always verify current terms on the official scheme portal before applying.

What it actually is

An aggregator, not a lender in itself

JanSamarth does not disburse funds directly. It is an open-architecture platform that brings multiple credit-linked government schemes — MSME loans, education loans, agricultural credit, Kisan Credit Card, PM SVANidhi and others — onto a single digital front end, using smart eligibility-matching so an applicant is guided to the scheme and lender combination they actually qualify for, rather than applying blind.

The portal uses an auto-recommendation system: you enter your profile and requirement once, and the system checks eligibility across the linked schemes and suggests the best fit, reducing the trial-and-error of approaching multiple bank branches or scheme desks separately. Over two hundred and fifty lenders participate, including major public sector and private banks.

As with psbloansin59minutes, in-principle guidance from the portal is followed by final processing at the selected bank branch, which conducts its own verification before disbursal. State governments and other institutions can also onboard their own schemes onto the platform under its open architecture, so coverage continues to expand.

Who can use JanSamarth

  • Any applicant seeking credit under one of the linked government schemes
  • Registration via mobile OTP, free of charge
  • Eligibility for the underlying scheme (e.g. Mudra, Stand-Up India) still applies — the portal aggregates access, it does not waive scheme conditions
What applicants get wrong

Getting the most from the portal

01

It aggregates access, not eligibility

Using JanSamarth does not change the underlying eligibility conditions of, say, Mudra or Stand-Up India — it simply presents the right scheme to you based on your profile. Understanding the specific scheme's conditions still matters once you are matched to it.

02

Bank-integrated access can differ from the direct portal

Some banks integrate JanSamarth directly into their own portals. If you encounter an issue through a bank's integration, going directly to jansamarth.in is generally the more reliable path, since the underlying data is the same but the direct portal is the primary interface.

03

One application, multiple scheme checks

Rather than approaching separate desks for an MSME loan, an education loan or agri-credit in the hope one works out, entering your profile once and letting the eligibility engine surface the right match saves considerable time.

Incomplete files cause most multi-week delays. We assemble the full set upfront, in the order credit teams read it.
